Over 600 key actors in the venture philanthropy and social investment sector gathered in Warsaw, Poland for the 14th EVPA Annual Conference.
The SCP/RAC joined the conference as co-creator of the “enabling ecosystem for home grown social entrepreneurs in emerging economies� and presented TheSwitchersFund as innovative finance tool for the green start-ups in MENA.

Across emerging economies, social entrepreneurs across sectors - livelihood, agriculture, renewable energies, tourism – need support in building their capacity, as they aspire to scale and grow. This needs a strong enabling ecosystem tailored for helping home grown enterprises succeed.

Together with NESsT, the School for Social Entrepreneurs, Danone Communities among others, The SwitchersFund explained its approach and vision: acting as glue among the green entrepreneurs and their ecosystem and enabling the investment flow into innovative green solutions.
The SwitchersFund wants to make the switch to a green, circular and social economy in the Mediterranean a reality. For this, The SwitchersFund supports eco and social innovators through a mix of grants, seed money and the business support services that complements the Fund’s financial instruments.
The Switchers Fund relies on the network of Switchers, allowing the fund to have a continuous flow of projects.
