SEED Africa Symposium Symposium wil take place 10-11 September 2014 in Narobi, Kenya.

We are delighted to announce that we are partnering as a Symposium supporter with SEED Africa Symposium Symposium, which is a unique forum for businesses, policy makers, civil society and support institutions to share their knowledge and experience, explore partnerships, and develop solutions to stimulate the growth of social and green entrepreneurship in Africa.

Under the theme “Making growth sustainable: co-creating solutions through social and green entrepreneurship this year the event will focus on the nexus between small social and green enterprises and businesses, and how to strengthen collaboration between them, and policy makers in supportive environments. What are the innovative small, micro and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) that drive the change to sustainable development? How can linkages between social and green enterprises and businesses be strengthened for greater innovation and impact? What barriers do they face and how can their growth in Africa be fostered?

The event is taking place on 10-11 September 2014 in Narobi, Kenya. It will bring together around 250 delegates including social and environmental enterprises, inclusive businesses, SMEs, MNCs, investors, legal and financial institutions, governments, foundations, development agencies, international organisations, academia, service providers, community-based and civil society organisations

How are we participating in the Symposium? Will be co-hosting a breakout session on September 11 in which we will address the following topics: Barriers and enablers for the growth of green entrepreneurship, Financing for social and green enterprises and Life-Cycle Analysis - Business models towards the circular economy.

We will also be having an exhibition stand during the one and a half days of the event at the Symposium´s Expo, a platform to network and explore innovative entrepreneurial solutions, and ecosystem building initiatives. If you are there, do not miss out stand and come along!
