Our Switcher of the month in July2018 is The Electrowaste Malta Ltd, a Malta-based comapny which pffers collection and recycling certification service for Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE). The 7 years old company is now comprised of 10 people operating over a 1,200-square-meter facility, whereas Refab works on a 600-square-meter plot.

28 industries from the MED TEST II project will present the potential of resource efficiency for Egypt on the 26 June in Cairo
As part of the SwitchMed programme, UNIDO supports industries in Egypt through the MED TEST II project to produce resource efficient, competitive and with a better environmental performance. On the 26th June, 28 Egyptian companies will present their savings on a final event in Cairo showing the potential of resource efficiency for the Egyptian economy.

Our Switcher of the month in June 2018 is The Chain Effect, a Beirut-based cycling mobility NGO which promotes and facilitates cycling as a sustainable means of transport in Beirut through street art, community projects, public interventions and mass cycling events. The bike-unfriendly reputation of Lebanon is changing thanks to the effort of its growing pro-cycling graffiti artists.
